Meet Dr. Daniel H. Adler

Dr. Adler is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut, where he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in biology in 1979. Dr. Adler received his doctorate in dental medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He then completed an advanced year of training in a general practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Adler worked as an associate dentist in a private group practice in the Boston area for five years before opening his private practice in Millis in 1989. Recently, he celebrated his 20th year in practice.

In the spring of 2007, he completed construction of his new dental office, Main Street Dental. The new office fulfilled his vision of a modern, inviting, and professional dental office that reflects the kind of quality dentistry provided. Dr. Adler is a well-rounded general dentist with a special passion for cosmetic dentistry and has been voted the #1 dentist in Millis by the Reader’s Choice Awards for the past several years.

In his spare time, Dr. Adler enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid sports fan and has coached several youth baseball and basketball teams. He also likes gourmet cooking, working out at the health club, and playing golf.

Meet Our Team

Audrey Monday: Office Manager After a long successful career in the hairdressing business, Audrey has found her niche as the dental office manager at Main Street Dental. Audrey has been with the practice for three years, and the patients will all tell you how kind and helpful she is both on the telephone and at their appointments. Everyone enjoys Audrey’s colorful and fun personality. Audrey is from Medfield and in her spare time enjoys traveling, fishing, and an occasional trip to Foxwoods (she plans on hitting the big jackpot and retiring).
Ann Marie DeMarzo: Certified Dental Assistant Mimi, as she is affectionately called by her nine grandchildren, is now in her 28th year as a dental assistant and has worked for the last 20 years with Dr. Adler. Mimi earned her dental certification at Northeastern University and after a long career she still enjoys working with the patients (many of which she has seen grow up) and the variety of dental procedures performed each day. When not working or having fun with grandkids, Ann Marie is extremely involved with The Relay for Life to raise money for cancer research. She also enjoys kayaking on the Cape and scrapbooking. Mimi recently sold her family house in Millis and is enjoying condo life in Bellingham.
Marie McMillan: Certified Dental Assistant Marie grew up in Franklin, MA and went on to earn her Certification in Dental Assisting 11 years ago at Quinsigamond Community College. Marie has spent the last 10 years splitting her time between working in the dental field and as a high end food server at various restaurants in the Providence area and is currently employed at Alta Strada restaurant in Wellesley. She enjoys interacting with people in both the dental office and the restaurant business. Marie is a devoted Mom to her 6 year old daughter and in her little bit of free time, she writes poetry and is a talented charcoal artist.
Barbara Henchy: Registered Dental Hygienist Barbara began her career in dentistry 28 years ago as a certified dental assistant with a degree from Boston University. She then went on to earn her registered dental hygiene degree from Westbrook College at the University of New England. Barbara has been a hygienist for 25 years and has worked with Dr. Adler since he started his practice in Millis 20 years ago. Barbara has enjoyed the many close relationships she has developed with her patients over the past 25 years. When not at work, Barbara is busy with her three teenage children and rooting for her beloved Boston Red Sox. Originally from Westwood, she and her family now live in Franklin.
Paula Aquilino: Registered Dental Hygienist Paula is an experienced dental hygienist, graduating from Cape Cod Community College in 2003. She is personable, caring and takes pride in counseling and motivating her patients to achieve optimal oral health. Paula lives in Bellingham and is the mother to 2 daughters, ages 7 and 3. Along with her husband, she owns and helps manage Ritual Restaurant in Worcestor. Check it out at www.ritualworcestor.com. If there is any free time, Paula likes to unwind and stay in shape by exercising at the health club.
Janice Ryan Lilburn: Registered Dental Hygienist We welcome Janice as the newest member to join our team. She is 2000 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst earning a BA in journalism and psychology and went on to receive her associates degree in dental hygiene from the Forsythe School in 2004. Janice enjoys working in the dental field, being able to meet many new people and educating them about the importance of achieving and maintaining optimal dental health. Outside of work, Janice is the proud mother of a newborn daughter. She enjoys dance, musical theater, and with her husband dreams of someday running a shelter for abused and neglected animals.
